a little fun song i made during january of 2025 to get me moving. was listening to a lot of high energy music, and i wanted to try my hand at it as well. this sounds oddly clean for how many layers of sounds and effects i piled on, so i'm quite happy!

a outtake from an upcoming album made of songs completed japan. it initially started as an excuse to see what fitting dance music to a 12-bar structure would do, and then after some playing around it ended up being too "swaggy" for my liking. thus, it got cut! but it has some things i like, so online it goes~~~

uk garage thing i made on a whim. probably one of the most well-produced songs i've made thus far, not gunna lie... someone recently said my music is "very fun" and this made me quite happy :D i personally think this is one of the more fun ones i have made

collection of songs i made in a submission to a game jam that my boyfriend and i participated in. surprised at how well these "fit," especially considering i made all of these within a couple hours the night before the submission deadline! but overall, very stripped back and unpolished

first soundtrack i made for the first game i developed in unity, with some unused demos that didn't really fit within the game. continual theme, but i still cannot tell whether this is any good or not. i occasionally listen to some of these just because, so that's a good sign, right?!? i made a lot of these as my first deliberate attempt to learn ableton after switching from garageband. having functional compressors was a cool upgrade!

a few songs made upon the realization that owl city is in fact emo and everyone who disagrees just likes the poser twinks dressed in all black or some other convoluted cope that i am dreaming up. anyways... all of these were made off and on from march-june 2023. also, coincidentally i switched to ableton in the midst of these songs. take a guess where!!! hint: it's obvious

sad guitar music. a mix of bad songs, ok songs, and (shockingly) some good songs. at least in my opinion. take a guess which ones are the good ones! made during a particularly depressing period of life, and sent out to friends in CD form. that part is embarrassing, but it was a fun little exercise in making something that was intended to be consumed as a completed package.

a collection of demos i made after listening to the hylics soundtrack and thinking, woah guitars are cool and i should try that! i think these had some sauce, but i never got around to fleshing them out more. recorded somewhere in mid-2023 in my old room in my parent's old house. coincidentally, these songs were, as of mid-2025, the last time i've actually recorded myself playing a guitar. still not sure how i want to use a guitar in the future

a collection of outtakes from a period of transition, all made from late 2022 until early 2023. in this time, i was debating the point of... well, mostly everything. i got invaded by bedbugs, felt my own impermanence, learned a bit more about where the boundaries for my comfort were defined, learned how to (sort of) make a videogame, grew truly close with my bf, decided to quit my job and move to japan, finally leaned into the furry stuff a bit more... yeah, lots. about the music though, it's ok! not great, not bad, mostly just mediocre. occasionally a moment peeks out where i see a progression towards better ideas and techniques. a good learning experience that felt right to post as a memory from a confusing time :)

outtakes from in tandem, made from 2021 through 2022. guitar and noise. pink and purple and blue. overall, mediocre. but it was fun to make and occasionally the sounds are pretty. don't know why i was on the gl titles, but there they are.

a live set of pop and ambient songs i mixed for zoning out, staring aimlessly, studying, drowning in noise, watching the clouds, wishing you were somewhere else, anything where distracting a small percentage of one's attention is helpful or productive. i don't really have the urge to use my dj controller any more, and all the other mixes i made have long since been deleted, so this will be my only and final mix made live to be posted online!

a single made with my bf. he made the background synth in ableton with a max patch and i improved guitar over it, then did some production add-ons. the name is a klein reference, because we were both mentally ill replaying weird klein songs over and over. i think the voice sample is rather cheesy in hindsight, but i feel like there was some sauce here... who knows!

nts ripoff mix trade. made at the peak of my league of legends addiction. yes, i admitted it. some songs i liked, some mashups, some original music. this was before i even knew what a dj controller was, so you can imagine how annoying this was to make.
